Poke That Booty

If you (or anyone you know) gets back pain, it’s worth TAKING A loving finger and gently start poking the butt.

If the tone of the muscles is soggy this is your first clue that the spine isn’t getting the support it needs from the biggest muscles in the body. This is because as the glutes turn off the pelvis decides to collapse into an anterior tilt, shifting all the load into the back.

This is not the only reason backs get sore. Sometimes people have a herniated disc or arthritic facet joints. But even so, both will benefit from the glutes being stronger so that the joints don’t have to do all the work.

Basically, the glutes deserve a dedicated shrine in your home complete with transformation images and ornaments of peaches.
