1. Mastering the Kick-Up

One of the most common ways to get into a handstand is the kick-up method. We show you how to position yourself near a wall for extra support (and peace of mind!). Learn the key movements of keeping your legs low in the beginning, using momentum, and pushing off the ground for that first lift-off. Don’t worry if it feels a little scary at first—everyone feels that way!

2. Power and Patience

Handstands require strength, but they also take time. In the video, we explain why building power in your legs and core is crucial. It's like lifting weights for the first time—start small and build up. You’ll hear some great tips on developing that power gradually, so your handstands become lighter and easier.

3. Bunny Hops for Strength

We also introduce a great exercise called the "bunny hop." This will help you gain power in your legs, teaching your body to push off the ground without relying on momentum. Plus, it’s a great workout for your quads! If you feel the burn, know you're building the strength you need for a solid handstand foundation.

4. Consistency is Key

The secret to mastering handstands? Consistent practice! Set aside just five minutes a day to work on the kick-ups and bunny hops we demonstrate in the video. Trust us—over time, you’ll notice real progress!

Happy handstanding!
