One of the greatest opportunities I have had to date was the chance to become a lululemon ambassador. I was invited to do loads of great events and photoshoots. Two of my favourite moments were when I appearing on their website. It was a very exciting feeling seeing myself on this great brand’s site.
Dropping out of school at 16 and always struggling with writing, I was so very proud to have my first article ever published in Om Magazine. I got the chance to work with the incredible photographer Karen Yeomans, and I put together this little article about doing Bird of Paradise pose.
In 2014, Om Yoga Show asked Karen Yeomans and I if they could use our image to be the face of the Om Yoga Show. It was amazing to see our work exhibited and received with so much love. Thank you Om Yoga Show for giving us a chance to shine 🙂
Teaching at the Om Yoga Show is such a highlight every year! I love the energy of all the people and it makes me so happy to see how yoga is growing and can help little businesses thrive. If you’re ever at the Om Yoga Show come and say hi and give me a hug. It’ll totally make my day!
It has always been a dream to travel and teach. My first ever opportunity to do this was with the Yoga Conference in Slovenia. The best part I have to say, was meeting the people at the conference! The organisers are the kindest, loveliest people you could ever imagine to meet, and the people attending the workshops were super up for fun and learning. I think that travelling as a yoga teacher is scary your first time, but the people in Slovenia made it an unforgettable experience.
As I mentioned earlier, lululemon have enabled me to do some amazing things. One that stands out was the opportunity to teach 400 people at the Saatchi Gallery in Hyde Park. There was a beautiful art installation behind me and I even had a live Cellist playing for me as I taught my class. It was a night to remember!
