This is an all levels class that is designed to give us a chance to learn how to go deeper into our stretches, get stronger in our balances and move in a unique, interesting and fun way. It’s also a chance to do yoga in ways you may never have explored before. It can feel like a shock at times to break the mould, but 99% of the people who do this class gain a lot from being a little more creative with their yoga.
Backbends are either your friend or your enemy. Sometimes they can be both. This workshop will educate you on intelligent ways of doing a variety of beautiful backbends that will give you more depth whilst keeping your body safe. It’s a great workshop for any level, as the whole workshop is full of options to suit your body as this time.
Handstands can seem like a long road. Even more so it your technique isn’t right! I struggled for years with handstands, so know how it feels. If you’d like to learn handstands but you’re finding it hard, then join me! I know how it feels to keep falling and I’ve worked hard to figure out the most effective way to hold and steady handstand from the ground up!
In my journey as a physiotherapist and yoga teacher I have come across many injuries related to the yoga practice, but also just the population in general. This workshop is an eye opening look at the parts of the body we often neglect in our daily lives and especially in our yoga practice. It isn’t always a comfortable workshop, but we laugh a lot and have fun. Ultimately we learn a lot! So bring a note book and pen!
